Again this year the craft marquee is promising some interesting traders some new & some regulars. You will find the craft marquee located between the main ring and fishing marquee, we have a variety of hand crafted products to display to our visitors to the Cheshire Game & Angling Fair.
We have a range of crafters joining us again this year, some new some regulars.
JEWELLERY BY DEANNE
Deanne brings a lovely display of quality costume jewellery by international designers. There is something to suit every pocket. Deanne has supported us for a number of years.
Lis represents Forever Living Products, a range of skincare products made from Aloe Vera. Another of our supporters over the years. Come to the craft tent and spoil yourself.
MR AND MRS MCCURRIE
The McCurrie’s bring an array of home-made scented soaps and candles. Mr McCurrie is a chemist by training and they have supported the game fair for a number of years now.
Charlie is our antiques specialist in the craft tent, having been in the trade for quite a number of years. He has some interesting collectables, include Beswick horses for those collectors of fine Beswick pieces.
ROB BROOKES FRAMING
Rob has supported us for many years at the game fair and you will find him in the centre of the craft tent. He brings quality country artwork which he has framed himself- classic pieces at reasonable prices.
Rachel produces curiosities from butterflies with of a bit of a scientific spin, amongst other artefacts. It is her second year with us in the craft marquee, come and see what she has to offer.
SILVERFIELDS – MAUREEN WILLIAMS
Maureen joins us for the first time this year with her beautiful handmade sterling silver jewellery, pendants, in the shapes of acorns, animals, dragonflies just to name a few, together with exquisite pearl jewellery.
ASHFIELDS LEATHER- ROB
Another first in the craft marquee Rob makes a range of leather goods from bags and belts to bridles and headcollars using the best leather selected from old English tanneries that focus on quality, sustainability and traceability. Whether creating new or reviving old it is cut, stitch and finish by hand using traditional techniques. and wherever possible Rob uses natural, sustainable materials and products sourced as close to home as possible.Everything is designed to last a lifetime. A lifetime to age beautifully and store memories. His love for his craft shows in everything he makes.
BISHOPS BEES – JEN ROBERTS
“Natural Products made using Beeswax”
Jen makes natural products from beeswax, which derives from her passion from protecting bees and being a novice bee keeper. Her products include Cosmetics – balms, Soaps and candles
SARA EVANS – WILLOW & WIRE SCULPTOR.
Sara is a very talented lady making large and small sculptures out of wire and also Willow, horses, foxes, hares and so much more, sara will be doing demonstrations for us all.
JANE CLIFF – BEAUTIFULLY HANDCRAFTED.
Jane,s love of nature is evident in her crafting. She painstakingly produces felted woodland animals displaying them in glass globes in woodland scenes from dried materials, alongside displaying peacock feathers, from a natural mould, from her own peacocks in glass globes.
McLAREN PRECISION ENGINEERING
Vivien manufactures house signs and personalised gifts at their workshop in Alsager, using acrylic and mirror materials to create beautiful, modern designs. These are high quality items which they can personalise with names and motifs.
PURPLE IMPEY PRODUCTS
Mhairi is based in Frodsham and makes a range of handmade kitchen textiles and soft furnishings inspired by country living.
The fun doesn’t just stop at craft stands, each year the Cheshire Game & Angling Fair introduce visitors to both locally sourced and international cuisine with our ever-expanding Food Trade Stands. Once again, we will have various food outlets for lunch time to cater for those who love traditional homemade food to those who like the taste of food from across the globe including Indian, Thai and not forgetting Game.
There will also be many Artisan stands selling award-winning Cheese, Pies, Honey plus so much more. We have stalls selling various items such as clothing and footwear as well as items for your four legged companion.
