Crowd Favourites Return

Vale Royal Falconry with Phil & Nanette who have over 50 years combined experience in Falconry, will once again return to Cheshire Game & Angling Fair this year. The display educates visitors about British Birds of Prey and the ancient art of falconry with Two demonstrations give visitors the chance to get involved with the demonstrations.

A real crowd favourite with children, Ferret World will be returning to the Cheshire Game & Angling Fair in 2020. Join Simon Bishop as he starts of with a brief informal talk on the history of ferrets, where they came from and what they are used for, right up to the modern ferreter and the equipment they use. Ferret World introduces children of all ages to ferrets in a fun, educating way by being invited into the Arena, Simon then gets the children take part in the famous ‘Ferret Run’.

Horse Power Forestry will also return this year. Alan will talk us through and demonstrate to us on how the horse still plays a vital roll in today’s forestry management. Having previous demonstrated Horse Logging, you can learn how horse logging has become a viable and sustainable option within modern forestry.

Finally, The Hounds will once again be paraded into the Main Arena with the hunts man. Children will be invited in to the Arena to meet the hounds up close.
